How It Works
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable savings account and gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often funds are granted to LAist and other qualified charities. You can recommend a one-time grant to make an immediate impact, or recurring grants to plan future charitable giving.
A few things to know:
- You can use your DAF to make a one-time or recurring gift.
- You will receive an acknowledgment for your gift, but not a charitable receipt for tax purposes. This is because it is your initial contribution to your donor-advised fund that is tax-deductible, not your distribution to CLUE.
- No goods or services of any monetary value can be transferred to you in connection with this gift. Please refer to your donor-advised fund or financial advisor for more information.
