Your Monthly Impact

Your reliable, recurring contribution will be put to work each month:

  • Developing opportunities to educate clergy and lay leaders on the experience, strength, and hope of workers, immigrants, and communities of color
  • Training congregants in non-violence, faith-rooted organizing, civil disobedience, and advocacy at all levels of government
  • Turning out faith leaders and community members for actions of prophetic witness in the cause of economic justice
  • Creating opportunities for pastoral care and direct support for low-wage workers, immigrants, and communities of color.

How It Works

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable savings account and gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often funds are granted to LAist and other qualified charities. You can recommend a one-time grant to make an immediate impact, or recurring grants to plan future charitable giving.

A few things to know:

  • You can use your DAF to make a one-time or recurring gift.
  • You will receive an acknowledgment for your gift, but not a charitable receipt for tax purposes. This is because it is your initial contribution to your donor-advised fund that is tax-deductible, not your distribution to CLUE.
  • No goods or services of any monetary value can be transferred to you in connection with this gift. Please refer to your donor-advised fund or financial advisor for more information.

Make a gift from your Donor-Advised Fund today!

Please request your DAF distribution be made to Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice and mail to:

    464 Lucas Ave

    Los Angeles, CA 90017

Ask your DAF representative to include your name and address on the distribution, so we know how to direct your acknowledgment.
